I'd put Weight of the World as equal to Ashes of Dreams, maybe a little better. They both do a great job of conveying the state of the world and game's ending, and I think Weight of the World manages to build up more meaning once you grow attached to the characters and world around them.

Kuroi Hana is definitely the undisputed best though, and it's not fair that DoD3 also gets the Black Song, which is also one of the best in the series.

The best song in Automata is probably Possessed by a Disease, which is top notch and pretty much perfect.

Both games can be abused but the original is far more wobbly in combat balance. You would just spam Dark Lance or tap the Dark Blast so it never runs out. Then you have spears which are broken in both games

Hills of Radiant Winds was looped endlessly in a lot of areas of the game with a slight variation (Northern Plains, Seafront), which if you're actually playing the game and not being a pretentious twat wanking off the OST to a game he's never played gets quite annoying.
