Enviorments are pretty and while the combat has variety its very stiff, characters are very polarizing and you either like them or hate them, story is nothing special but has good presentation. It does a good job of setting up for the next game though, especially since the writing team is almost completely guest/professional writers like Witcher 3

just got this the other day, it's totally true. i got bored really fast, even on nightmare all you need to do is lead enemies around and they're predictable so killing them is easy, meanwhile glory kills always keep your health full. it's fun for a few hours, worth the 10$ i got it for. for 60 dollars no fucking way

i'd possibly push it to a 9 with dlc, and that's from someone who likes 3 and 4 better than nv. the world is just so fuckin bland. i prefer the blandness of ruined cities and woods compared to a literal fucking desert. also the stinging bugs are by far the absolute worst enemies in any of the games, fuck deathclaws

but yeah without dlc it's a little so/so

absolutely not. 4, when it comes to enjoyment, is 10/10 for me, but if i had to review it as a critic, i'd say it's a 8/10. with fallout 3, enjoyment and being a game both get a 7/10. fallout nv gets a 6/10 enjoyment, 7/10 with dlc, and as a GAME i'd give a 7-8/10.


it's my opinion, i enjoy fallout 4 more than other fallout games because i like the more shooting- aspect rather than the rpg aspect, and 4 does the shooting to my liking the most.

plus modding weapons, power armor, and settlement building is dope.
