The only thing I can think of is there's literally no game so they needed to pad it out with either EPIC JEEP RIDE or similar things but less epic. Like flying away in the chopper

Yes. Given that Ocelot calls Skull Face "pretentious to the end" when referring to his plans, and Venom is supposed to be a reserved vector for the player, it would actually work very well for Venom to call him out on being a deranged tryhard, even if it is literally just that sentence.
