Why is Dota 2 different from Starcraft and League of Legends

Koreans played Warcraft 3 and other custom games, but they were never big on Dota. Thus they do not care about Dota 2 at all.

Also considering Top 4 has 3 Chinese teams and the only other EU team was knocked out a long time ago means I wouldn't consider Europe the top tier.

Riot pays Kespa (Korean E-SPorts Association) to keep other MOBAs out the country. Kespa, which is part of the government, has a huge amount of influence over what is allowed to be played competitively in Korea. For example, if your competitive event isn't Kespa sanctioned, any prize money awarded is heavily taxed to discourage people from playing in it.

Gotta say I fucking hate chinese teams so watching Liquid get a full run of just fucking chinks is the most satisfying TI, it's how I would have felt if Navi won TI3.

Because it requires true co-operation. Korearns are mindless insects like their chink counterparts and so they can't work together worth shit. Dota is also mechanically demanding and not just memorization so sitting in your house all day and building the same build in LoL (because it requires no counterbuilding) won't do jackshit.

Koreans don't care about it. League fills the same function.

Because the Chinese already dominated Dota. Gooks tried to compete and failed miserably, then they just stopped trying. There wasn't a fresh stadium of unskilled teams for them to pubstomp and become popular with. Gooks can't compete vs an established roster of teams, they can only rise to fame by there being no competition.

The mechanics are relatively easy to master, it's coordination and strategy that makes a dota team excel.

Asians don't seem to hold an advantage on those fronts, but they're discplined approach of non-stop training definitely gives them the edge in games like Starcraft and League, where mechanics can win the game alone.

Let's look at Poles. They lost huge parts of their country, cried hundreds of years about it, then after some other countries fucked Germany's shit up, they gave some of it back to piss Germany off.
Then, after WW2 (where Poles had to be liberated again because they just can't get anything done), Germany had to be nerfed hard, so they gave parts of Prussia to Poland.

Poland is one of the biggest meme countries.
