Genesis version here, top comfy. I can understand liking Saturn more but I liked to more colorfulness of Genesis. Also I hear the music is different in Saturn and not as good, Genesis version had amazing music.

What emulator is that? Is it better than mednafen for Saturn games?

SSF Yes, far better. Mednafen's saturn emulator is experimental, SSF is capable of properly running about 90% of Sega games. If you're gonna use a usb controller, download the beta version off Sega Retro and then get a saturn bios pack of Emuparadise. The current version of the emulator, Alpha, has some issues with configuring a controller. The beta is still capable of properly running the majority of Saturn games though.
The big issue though is that you'll need to burn the games onto CD drives via Daemon tools. If you don't wanna waste space by having all those games on drives, you can just save state or save in game and then delete the drive until you're gonna play that game again. It's tedious, but the only way to emulate Saturn properly
