I loved it. It's much more of a stealth game than Conviction, the gear selection is huge, the levels are more open, you can go non-lethal all the way through (however, there are quite a few occasions where you absolutely have to dispose of enemies) and Sam's movement is done amazingly well. There are three major ways to play, ghost (sneaky beaky like in the old days), panther (stay stealthy but kill everyone) and assault (turn it into a shooter).

However, it's still more fast-paced and action-y than older SC games, so if you're totally turned off by that you probably won't like it.
