It's worth it if you can get very immersed into each match, mainly because most the match is doing nothing. Combat is so dangerous that you must try to minimize it to a few engagements per match if you want a better chance of making it far. The tension in hiding comes from your immersion. I really liked it at first because I liked that tension, but after a while you realize you are spending 40+ minutes hiding in bushes

It's not really open world. There's a zone you have to stay in otherwise your health drains rapidly, and it is shrinking and moving around throughout the match. Assuming you last up until the top 10 matches will only last for maybe 25 minutes and the zone will have shrunk and moved several times in that time, so you will be frequently on the move in most games.

Aside from wanting to have fun, but whatever. People win with 15+ kills, I've won with 11, I've also died plenty of times near the end with only 1-2 kills. Dying at the end with 1-2 kills is way more annoying than dying within the first 5 minutes with 0-4 kills. I'd rather gamble and land repeatedly in high populated areas and focus on those areas because by the end of it I still had a lot of fun, regardless if I die.

literally the only bad reviews for this on Steam are about lootcrates and they only contain cosmetical items with 0 defense stats or anything else that makes them special

if that is truly the only thing wrong with the game, then this is indeed one of the best games of all times
