This is a meme, the module is trash. Blackguard and Lankhmar Nights are pretty much the best NWN1 modules ever made.

NWShader lets you add postprocess effects and get rid of the fog. Last I checked half the effects don't work, but it's worth it for some decent draw distance.

It IS a sandbox mod with a lot of quests in it that can be completed in any order you want, that's the point. I played the module a long while ago and was really impressed by how well made the city was and how challenging the encounters were without actually being bullshit. It's a module with SHITLOADS of effort and care put into it, it's worth playing for this reason alone.

I wouldn't go that far. There are definitely plenty of lewd mods, but they're far from the majority, and there are a *lot* of non-lewd mods.

Graphics should be fine, the problem is your processor. NWN only knows how to use a single core and can take up a ton of processing power, especially if you're using mods made by authors who keep AI running in every single area.

How the fuck do I learn how dnd works? I just don't understand the core systems, and it seems like most encounters in BG and such are meant for min-maxing and exploiting the shit out of systems. How did you guys learn? Are there any online resources? The manuals almost assume that you are already familliar with the material.

I learned by making a fighter and taking all recommended options when leveling. it was suboptimal as hell, but it lets you complete the game and you learn how shit works by playing. been sticking to wizards and clerics since then.
