99% of music you find online is in MP3 format. Maybe 10% of them also have the choice to download as FLAC. The other mentioned options I have literally never seen on any common place.
Old albums that already have no FLAC to be found won't magically be re-released as such or in any other format. I can guarantee that almost all the music that releases in MP3 format to this day won't be available in any other format once MP3s become obsolete anyway, aside from those very very few FLAC releases that you will ALSO still be able to download in that future and then convert yourself. There's literally zero reason to download FLACs "for future preparation" or some shit unless you live with a sub 100kbs download speed with some crazy <1GB/monthly download limit.
