BotW is the closest to that but it's closer to OoT than it is MM, and it very lacking in a lot of the aspects that made MM good but has some strengths that made MM good.

If they made a sequel to BotW in the same vein as MM with Yoshiaki directing it, I have no doubt that people would cling onto it like they would MM.

BOTW is a very very good start for a new generation of zelda the way its combat engine and mechanics work is almost perfect the next games needs to bring back a few traditional elements to zelda such as dungeons and one large hub town i suggest that to get ideas they remake minish cap and or a linki to the past in the BOTW engine because i think it is an excellent base for 3d zeldas that feel much more like the old 2d ones

MM's success came largely from having the beloved OoT to work with as a base. There is no evidence that Koizumi can build a Zelda game from scratch. His first Mario game was garbage before fixing his mistakes with Galaxy.
