If you're running out of time you're either never hitting the monster or you have garbage-tier equipment. Upgrade it and you should be doing fine if you hit the monster until it dies.

It's completely fine to be getting into the game now. The online is underpopulated because the game is a few years old, but you should still be able to find people playing at your rank.

4U is a very nice complete package for traditional monster hunter gameplay.

tons and tons of content too.

generally if a hunt lasts longer than 10-15 minutes something is wrong, either your gear is outdated and needs upgraded or you are not hitting the monster enough.

4u has litterally the largest roster around with only a few good monsters missing, it even surpassed freedom unite in content.

the minigame isn't hard and nets a knockover for doing it right, if you suck thats on you.

the only downside in mutliplayer for it is it can lead to downtime for the other 3 players but this can give the other 3 a chance to sharpen their weapons or heal up.

An optional mechanic that interrupts a quicker Spirit Finisher for anybody who dares even brave the worst iteration of the LS. Aerial combat would've been much more interesting without mounting. There's some combo potential to be had, but having to be forced into a shitty minigame isn't fun.

Rathalos has poison talons, Rathian's poison comes from the tailspikes.

with the tail flip poisons the same as rathalos

How's that "clearly" though? She ONLY inflicts poison with her tail flip. She has a dive attack and a pin, when she uses her claws, but neither inflict poison. That applies even to Dreadqueen.
