Parasite was my favorite WC3 custom map. I think it was far superior to Metastasis for two reasons:

Metastasis was just a random deathmatch between people piloting their own battleships and shit, whereas Parasite was much closer to capturing the feel of Alien. The worst part of Parasite was the blood tester, they should have allowed the host to disable it (a lot of matches would have a house rule disallowing it). IIRC Metastasis had a blood tester that wasn't 100% accurate, which is a better solution than what Parasite had.

I now play Space Station 13 to scratch that itch.

I replayed it recently after playing WC3 for a while and it felt like fucking Hotline Miami in an RTS format.
