Honestly I feel the situation had been improving lately. There's a revival of AAA/mid-budget Jap console games. I just want SEGA to revive some of their older franchises like Jet Set Radio or Sakura Taisen. Or Shining Force 4. There was also some rumour of a Valkyria Chronicle 2 or 3 remaster.

I know people meme about DMC5 never coming out, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if Itsuno's new game is DMC5. I don't know if it will be announced at TGS, but it'll be announced soon, I think.

I wouldn't mind seeing something of the new SMT. I'd really like to know if it's going to be exclusive to the Switch or not, I expect it will be, but I'd like a confirmation.

The fact that it's coming to Vita has me so worried about the gameplay. Will it try to be like an easier to get into VOOT or will it go full EXVS clone? And I don't think a VO game would work on the Switch despite the obvious control comparisons to ARMS, mainly because them being motion based would go against the fast pace and precise nature of VO's gameplay.

As an aside, I'm surprised Valve never got the idea to push PC gaming and Steam through Steamboxes in Japan.

The biggest barrier to PC gaming in Japan is cost and portability, plus the fact that PCs are FAR less ingrained in society there. So yeah, steamboxes or something might help.

Oh, I'm perfectly aware of En-Eins Perfektewelt's existence and yes, those hit-sparks and general presentation has gotten way worse. I just want another sequel, or barring that, just port En-Eins Perfektewelt to PC or a PlayStation platform.
