AoE II HD right now is at least actually in a good place with netcode improvements, AoM's re-release right now is ultimately abandoned. Skybox may have done a bunch of occasional fuckups for AoE II, especially when expansions got released, but Tale of the Dragon put a fucking spanner in the works for AoM, Chinese were stupid unbalanced and everything was buggy as hell, and they both still are.
