very fun game but needs polishing

Not exactly animals, but slime rancher is fun. Not too hard but it can be tricky at some points. Also, you'll feel a real attachment to your slimes.

So any threats you deal with are actually having to do with the dinosaurs and every attraction you build is catered to viewing them, obviously, my point is most of the mechanics revolve around the dinos, except maybe food and bathrooms, I never played Zoo Tycoon all that much and don't really remember but I would assume it's similar in some ways

Black & White kind of, maybe, not exactly, you sort of teach your giant furry killing machine, maybe like that DS game where you play with the puppies and kittens but they can kill shit
Vivesector: Beast Within sort of maybe again

Carnivores, Trespasser or whatever other dinosaur-only games
That one shitty game where you can play as like a wolf online, wolf quest or some shit
