I think custom characters is a big factor in why the characters in 4 and 5 looked kind of bad. They had to design everything with customization in mind, which meant standardizing bodies and outfits rather than making everything custom for each character.
I really hope they just go with the Tekken approach next time and only let you dress up the existing characters. And maybe even reign in the clown-suit customization a bit and focus more on unique outfits for each character.

SC3 is my best.
My first SC was 2 and it was thanks to this game i was introduced to the FGC but SC3 was the first fighting game i started to go on local tournaments with and at my time with the best Story Mode (Chronicle Of The Sword) and it had so many good modes and challanges that it was pleasing for me as a casual and tournament player.

Fourth one wasn't pleasing in any way, it was just trash. Slow, unbalanced and boring story mode that was just basically trying to dress up your character as badly as possible just to have the good gear that will give you the best feats.

SC5 was better but it suffered the same fate as SF5 did, with it mostly focusing on tournament players which wasn't bad at least for us who went to tournaments with it but the casual players suffered badly and got bored of it quickly. And i can understand it. Not many modes at all and the Story Mode in this game was horrible. All i know about Patroklos is that he's a whiny bitch, Pyrrha is an annoying anime character always apologizing, Xiba is a slick dude with abs and has an eating dissorder, Lexia is just Xianghua but younger, etc, etc. Haha

Yeah i can understand that people got angry. I was pissed when i found out that Talim was gone in 5 but this is why people gave 5 a bad rating which i think is unfair. Not saying that you did it but most people did actually hate on the game just because they're fave character was removed from the game. I don't think it's a strong case but i was just as angry as the next guy. Especially when they include three fucking mimic characters. Really stupid and only proves that the game was rushed out to meet a deadline.
