I think the biggest problem with Killer 7 is that the first level is pure garbage. The instruction manual to the game just tells you how to queue up blood for Dan's super shot and nothing about the other characters. Also the super shot doesn't have any indication that it's doing bonus damage, or any damage at all, to those spawning walls. In-game you don't learn about Coyote's lockpicking or super jump until level 2 so how were you supposed to know how to open the fuse box? There's no indication that any of their abilities work outside of combat until later in the level when you have to use Kaede's blood sucking to get the password to the last door.

Gameplay's fine for one playthrough.

Suda's an artsy fartsy developer who's blatantly made portions of his games unfun to make some kind of point though, so you really shouldn't be replaying his games in the first place, I think.
