His hair isn't naturally white, it was a side-effect from the Trial of the Grasses.
Eskel is the same age of Geralt, participated in the same Trial, but has black hair.

I fucking hate how Geralt in W3 looks. This game was so casualized that he is now a generic, reddit-tier MC. Puffy lips and reddish, smooth skin (even though it's confirmed that it's impossible for him to blush).
Geralt in W1 was the best because he was this ugly pale but badass witcher with much more defined personality.

It's not only about being ugly. Geralt in W1 is a just much more clear character. You could even say that whole W1 had better edge (in a good way) and atmosphere. W3 feels too much like a generic fantasy with some "slavic icing" just so it will feel at least somewhat unique.
