3 is horrible, awful pacing, awful story, basically just a collection of cool set peices that don't flow together very well. Multiplayer was cod inspired garbage.

4 had potential to be the best, much improved gameplay, more open areas etc... But they blew it by having not nearly enough combat and some story issues. Multiplayer was pretty good, tarnished by loot box system.

1 is the opposite problem, it's pacing and story are great. But the gameplay is clunky and unfun. If an uncharted game had the combat/level design of 4 and the frequency of combat of 1 it would be perfect.

2 is just fantastic, absolutely perfect pacing where there's a ton of variety but everything naturally flows into eachother. Game keeps showing off more and more impressive environments and action sequences, with a couple approiately placed slow sequences but doesn't go overboard like 3&4. No bad sections. Best story by far, campy Indiana Jones style blockbuster that doesn't take itself too seriously, mixed with well written dialogue and excellent voice acting. Legit best multiplayer on ps3.
