I think the new game is great and when the dust settles it will be preety liked. Same as how DDC was panned at release yet now is the zenith of newhu games. I'm having tons of fun, the shot types are nice and even though some people are disappointed there isn't a new extra girl, I like the decision of using final boss standing up from her chair as strongest girl this time.

Honestly, I didn't like the no graze and no bombs. It's designs and girls aren't that good besides Suwako, Sanae and maybe Nitori, and it's in my humble opinion one of the weakest in the series. The only thing MoF has going for itself it's the OST which is probably the best. It's just my opinion but before TD I considered MoF the worst

SA did the no spell bombs much better and is actually one of the best games along with IN.

It was bad. It had 1 good stage which was stage 4. People don't like Seija and Zombie girl that much but that stage+boss salvaged the game from being 100% mediocrity.
OST was bland, Miko is the worst final fight yet to date and the only cool spellcard of hers is the one where she summons her minions. Youmu was a nice addition to the cast but her shot type made the game too easy.

Best girl Yuyu didn't deserve to come back in that game ;_;

I was really entertained by the door backgrounds in stages 5 and 6. The seasons changing and stuff was really cool. Maybe I'm just easily entertained, but I thought it was a lot of fun. The only thing I hated were two times when the bullets were really hard to see (pink knives on a pink background with falling pink leaves resources).

It's fun. The mechanic is overly centralizing, and some people are pissed that Yukari 2.0, the final boss, pulled an Alice and serves as the Extra boss in her EX form. Still a fun game, but certainly on the easier side of things.

TD really isn't THAT bad. It's on the low end for 2hu, but it has some good bits. Stage 4 has the best boss gimmick, Miko has fantastic dialogue, and Mamizou is like Suwako but not a shitty boss. Plus, overdrive was a fantastic addition and I wish ZUN would do more with spell practice in the newer games.
The only game that deserves hate is HM and PoDD.

I've noticed that it's easier. I play it to shake up tings here and there and reach stage 4 with little effort. And then get blasted to shit by Marisa. Thanks for the advice, but I think I'm going to stick with EOSD until I beat it since I can get pretty far now. The pace in IN feels way faster, and I think it would fuck me up if I keep jumping between them.

I've been at it for 5 hours straight and I cannot 1cc. I keep having to reset due to dying on stages 1-3 or choking on stage 6.

Like how it took me literal months to 1CC UFO with the whole cast because I kept having to restart stages 1-3 due to dying or not getting max UFOs then choking horribly to Murasa and Shou despite practicing them for days on end and having max bombs just to skip anything hard.

That's what I did when 99%ing DS, which makes me so much more fucking mad since that game takes way more practice and memorization than this one. I can't even do the final phase of Matara's fight without dying 4 times minimum including bombing.
