A local gaming magazine that gave BOTW 7/10 gave this one 10/10. They also praised the combat. Is /v/ being retarded and butthurt due to muh sjws and wymyn again?

This is the best audio I've ever seen in a game, it is simply amazing the way the myriad of voices sound like they are all around you throughout the game. The graphics are beautiful and the music is decent, gameplay is passable, I would've liked a spear option and some more powers. The Celtic mythology is also really interesting and they present it in a very compelling way. The worst part of the games are the puzzles where you have to wander around trying to find things to match the shape of the gates you need to unlock to progress, these are just annoying and bog down the progress but it's still a great game, I am honestly surprised this is from the same studio who thought "fuck you" was great writing in their previous title.

Also you absolutely need to wear headphones while playing this.

Well I enjoy the atmosphere and how it looks, some parts really feel really good and exceed pretty much every recent horror game in terms of creating a creepy atmosphere. That moment in the forest where you start seeing eyes on some objects really fucked me up. Other than that the puzzles are fucking gay and the combat is piss easy. Great cutscenes and atmosphere, but mediocre level design, puzzles, and combat. And an anticlimactic ending. Gets props for not having QTEs though.

I wouldn't have a problem with simple combat if it was actually fun; here it's tedious because enemies take so many hits. Also had a few bugs in my playthrough.

Just like all of Ninja Theory games. Could of been cool if someone else handled the actual gameplay. They can't design gameplay, mainly combat to save their life. If they had a talented team working on combat, I think they could make something interesting. Enslaved, Heavenly Sword, and this have some interesting ideas but are completely bogged down by actually playing it.

Are you fucking kidding me? I played on Hard, died ONCE right at the beginning because I didn't know there was a down but not out mechanic, and then never died again. This game is so fucking easy it's pathetic.

Graphics, sound design and VA are great but gameplay is absolute fucking ass. Combat is so simple with infinite dodge that has huge ass i-frames, allowing you to dodge straight through enemy sword slashes. Puzzles are also simplistic as fuck so far and only requires you to walk around a short distance while holding the right trigger.

It's really just a walking simulator and filled with cutscenes. I like the narrative and plot so far but this isn't a game.

Combat would be better with more variations, and i don't just mean the player, but the enemies too. Also, enemies are too much of a hit sponges, and it gets boring to repeat stuff with one enemy for a minute to kill him. Also the design of the game isn't that good. It is basically all the same: you walk through your "hallway" and then you get to some wider area where you fight some enemies, before you can unlock some door for further progress, or you unlock something, and then you have some enemies to fight before you can progress further. But it is too much of the same stuff to not get boring fast. I didn't get far, so idk if it changes. I only beat the fire boss.
I like the look of the game (despite textures being low res even on maxed settings), and i like the sound and the voice acting. The art direction is great, it's just that the game gets boring fast.
