The Joyful was literally just a stretch goal for the kickstarter, so I didn't expect it to be as good as the original. Still enjoyed the combat.

So did she figure out that what she did was wrong? Since controlling Brad with that trumpet would mean that she still kind of wanted a father figure? it's my favourite Ueda game, just hits those personal notes for me more than the others because I'm a big animal person.
Trico reminded me of every pet I've ever owned and still felt like a totally unique creature
I recently finished Wizardry 1 and I got the bad end due to my stupidity.
After beating the final boss I used Lokofeit to get out of the dungeon instead of his amulet meaning I lost all my gear.
NiGHTs: Journey Of Dreams obviously has a lot of problems but I love the last section of that game and the ending. The music is beautiful and fact that the game is ultimately about a girl's estranged relationship with her mother after the father passes away is pretty unique for a videogame.
Let's be honest here.

Not necessarily tearing up but Hotline Miami 2 just made me feel sad. Realizing at the end that everyone in the game was a dead man walking and nothing was going to change that. I immediately jumped into Hard Mode but I just had to take a break seeing the change in the background on the menu and after the first mission.

Don't have a picture of the ending but both endings in Xillia 2 hurt. Ludger didn't deserve to suffer that much

FUCK YOU
The part where you save Zulf, and the ending credits theme.

All Supergiant games have great, bittersweet endings.

I had a really odd feeling once I returned back to the mojave. I was just so incredibly absorbed in the story and all the characters in dead money. I felt very out of place, like a sudden realization that it was over and it was such an amazing experience. Then suddenly I'm thrown right back into the normal game as if it never even happened. It was a weird kind of stunned.

One of my favorite all time gaming momentsalso I found out there's a timer for your death in that mission in-case you manage to survive longer than intended

Only women and faggots cry at movie/vidya endings, that doesn't mean you can't feel extremely sad though.
Talk about a depressing ending.

This. I only cry at the end of anime like a real man.

that could be an interesting plot change for HL3 if they ever decided to bring it out and finish the dam story
>freeman has died
>alex buries him and collects the suit
>gathers all the scientists to replicate the suit
>gives the suit to every willing survivor to kill off the remaining alien scum
>you play an unknown random guy who just wants to do his/her part
>alex comes on the main tv screen in place of DR breen
>she urges you freedom fighters to carry on while hiding her sadness over freeman
>the end comes
>you end up ridding the earth of the alien nuisance
>maybe even send the last on your nukes to their homeworld via wormhole to blow their shit up so they never think of returning
>cheers are had all around the world
>alex has no more strength to smile anymore\
>none of you will ever be able to replace Gordon
For some reason I got really choked up the first time I beat risk of rain. Maybe it was relief, maybe it wasremorse

>You have to go on, for all of us! - United States.
>You can do it! I believe in you! - Japan
>Cut your way through! I'm rooting for you! - Russia
I teared up a bit at that. It's funny because flock step in Rhythm Heaven Fever makes me do it too when you see that "You can do it!" It's a really weird feeling.
I don't really cry at character deaths, but stuff like Okami's where all the characters cheer you on always gets to me. Although not really characters, Nier Automata's Ending E got to me, felt really good seeing all those people's messages, don't think I saw a single negative one despite the game giving you the option to do so.
Straight up cried like a bitch, got me good

100% got me and nobody has mentioned it.
I didn't actually tear up, but nearly damn did.

The ending with everyone saying goodbye to Luke was great, but I felt more at the Luke and Asch duel

Carrying that weight for everyone is what does it for me, more than anything else.
>>386905317
Her saying goodbye got me a little more than Asch Luke because I thought that was just it.
>>386878476
This felt pretty good.
But the neutral ending broke me.

It's a shame that he died like a bitch off screen.
>>386883156
Fuck that noise, just let the unlikeable bitch die.
Sorry, Packie.
Tales of Xillia 2Julius and LudgerThat game made me despise the Xillia 1 cast for the better part of a year with what they forced on those 2. especially whenboth of them start humming that tune when their time is running outNo wonder they made it about Ellie because no way would anyone do all that shit for the xillia 1 cast.
>>386904273
I forget which one this is, but it's definitely not the only Layton game that did this.
Diabolical box fucking killed me. I beat it when I was on a plane and teared up hard.
Why do Professor Layton games have a habit of hitting right in the feels?
Watching my waifu break down as she turns off the TV and ends the game was pretty rough.

That shit just makes the bad end worth it in my eyes. The Xillia 1 cast is all fine with forcing Ludger to murder his brother, it really feels like they don't care about him at all.
>>386906356
That one is Unwound Future. Layton games are good at hitting the feels because you never expect them to, everything looks so cartoony and happy, how could they possibly get sad?
:_;

>tfw toby doesn't go by "Radiation" anymore
>>386906950
That's just incorrect, like it's an emotional ending but you end as robots. Do people even play this game or do they just follow it blindly?
>>386904097
>tfw becoming emotional about a good media I really enjoyed and want to cry because of how beautiful it was, but the tears simply can't come out
Shit sucks, I'm fucked up.
>>386878705
>This is good... Isn't it?
This one fucking line is what broke me
Kenny was broken and I knew he had to die, but what he says made me forgive him for all the shit he put me through in Season 2

it made me cry how terrible this ending was, 30 seconds cutscene for almost a 30 hour game jesus fucking christ
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ne89qCOYIRg
Since I guess Visual novels are allowed this ending makes me tear up no matter how many times I read it.
It's the perfect ending for the franchise. The only problem being that it didn't end, and seeing what it's become just makes the scene hurt even more.

i thought it had a pretty big impact when it said your name
I've got an exceptionally long name too, and earthbound is actually the only game I've ever seen that could fit my entire name, so I think it worked even better on me

At first i didn't know why i cried just right before the final battle (you know, the sun rises part.) there wasn't a sad scene or something to cry for.
>But then i remembered that i was a 13-year-old teen with existential problems, maybe depressed as well.
>i was pretty much uninstered at anything scholl, music, music, even food.
>i was pretty much a normie who knew about nothing
>found this game
>the art was something i have never seen before
>the beginning was slow but for the first time i felt a passion on a game, before i became an emofag anyways.
>in the end when i heard song reset and issun making his speech, i felt something i thought i would never want to feel.
>hope
>the sun rises
>cry while battling yami
>reset the sadness whitin me
>felt a void after playing it.
>became... something else
