Animal Crossing Switch when?

It's a fact that this had much less repeated dialogue, but most players value other things which is why AC will never be good again

Is there evidence about less repeated dialogue? I played the gamecube version after all the other ones, and it seemed pretty much the same if not even more repeated dialogue than the others.

AC should be always online and have dialogue that loads from a server or something so it always changes bissolina cassia

Animal Crossing Mobile is due out this year right? Maybe they'll tease the Switch version like they did with the Fire Emblem Heroes announcement.

Honestly, out of all the games that Nintendo could make for mobile, Animal Crossing seems to be the best fit for the mobile market. Life sim with furniture collecting. It could even be a mobile version of Happy Home Designer and it'd be a good fit.

New Leaf took a lot of great steps in the right direction, but a lot of the GCN version's charm has been lost in the series over the years. I feel like the villager dialogue was top notch back then. Could also be nostalgia goggles.

For the next AC I hope they bring back the dialogue from AC 1, I want the train to stay it was a lot comfort than the bus or taxi, I want the city to be back from city folk but you should have a bit more to do than just the tiny square and should be able to play with friends there, also maybe some unique bugs can only be found in the city? Like you have to go in the alley way to find cockroaches for example, I haven't played New Leaf but animal Crossing to me always feels like it's one step forwards and two steps back

The problem with the series currently is that its lost it's charm. New Leaf gave you all of the content: all of the songs, the furniture, the public works projects, the fish and bugs, etc. Yet the one thing it didnt give you was quality dialog. The dialog was shallow, and every day the villagers had you repeating the same fetch quest on a daily basis.

New Leaf just felt mechanical and soulless. And also the little things dragged down the experience as well like Blathers no longer telling you his life stories when you give him bugs and fish.

I just don't see a reason for buying a new AC game unless they fix the dialog.

No, the dialogue absolutely was. Villagers had more varied dialogue once you got to know them and didn't just have a 'inoffensively cheerful' mood to absolutely everything they said. Phylis was a dick, resetti was a jerk, and grumpy villagers would make fun of you.

And even then, you got more dialogue then villagers telling you they ate a [FOOD ITEM] and went on a run. The absolutely god tier music and non log rolling BS helped a lot with the comfy factor.

Going back and playing it now, even after several hundred hours in new leaf, it absolutely holds up

Making your village too large and it becomes a town, I really enjoyed London Life in one of the Professor Layton games, Had a lot to do and still felt comfy.
