Let's see. It takes me about 45 minutes to finish. I usually have about 3 hours of game time each day. In theory, I could beat the game 4 times a day. 4 times a day X 14 = 56.

So, if I spent all of my gaming time playing just Sonic 1, I could beat it 56 times over the next two weeks.

If you don't get the emeralds and waste time getting 50 rings, if you skip half act of Labyrinth with that shortcut, then less 45 minutes a play.
But playing 2 weeks, like 3 or 4 times a day is insane.
