I finally got around to playing it all. Did a normal 1cc my first try, and extra only took me a few tries this time around (mostly thanks to the abundant amount of resources it gives you. That backwards shit does not play well with me.)

I would like a little more time with the game, but overall I think it's fine. I think DDC and LoLK mind you, I like LoLK were better, but this is far better than things like UFO or TD. I'd personally place it in upper mid tier, for 2hu games.

Bosses were neat. Honestly, I was a little surprised by how much better stage 4 and onward felt compared to stage 1-3. Was stage 4 a yukinko? It gave me yukinko vibes. Stage 5 being a two vs. one boss was really neat, honestly what Benben and Not Benben should have been. Final Boss was Yukari 2.0, you could even see it in her patterns. People were talking about how you weren't supposed to cap her final card, but I did so I dunno what that's about. I was worried about extra recycling the final boss, but it looks like she's in "EX" mode like Alice was in MS, so it's alright. The whole "EX" subshot idea is really cool too, and designing a stage around it is a neat concept. Too bad shooting backwards is obnoxious.

Can't read Jap but Marisa's ending looked cute.

Overall a fine game. Not a fan of the mechanics, but it could have been worse.

Newhus are much better if you play against them rather than just judging her art(which is going to be shit anyways since it's ZUN)
Way better than LeLK

All this means is that Mima is sure to be the stage 6 boss in TH17.

i dont dig the gimmick at all, its not hard, it can spook you sometimes from stage 4 but its nothing near LoLK's levels of hard
