Yakuza 4, my first Yakuza game. I'm around 10 hours in, taking my time, playing as Shun Akiyama. Really enjoy it so far, though it's clearly not a high budget title. The cutscenes and character interactions are great.

Do you mean the inside? Because all the stores I visited are quite different. Some are smaller, some are bigger, some change where the cashiers are, the signs inside are different, etc. The vending machines nearly being all the same and on every street corner is nuts though.

Majima Everywhere system, Majima can ambush you literally anywhere and it's always different animation/setup.

New story parts that weren't in original Y1, such as actually seeing was Nishiki was doing from his perspective and why he became a demon.

Expanded Hostess Club mechanics and a new minigame, also new hostesses.

Other than that, not really. The price tag is deliberately lower since for all intents and purposes it's a Yakuza 1 themed expansion for 0, mostly for people to experience the story again but with new story details, better graphics and better mechanics.

Honestly all the new story bits with Nishiki alone are worth it.

Kiwami's meant as a jump off from 0 due to all the added scenes and stuff, it's up to you if you want to go release order or start from 0, most people seem to have enjoyed starting from 0 and several people in these threads have said they've been fine going to 2 onward no problem despite the massive shift when it comes to gameplay.

Honestly, that would be my only problem starting from 0/Kiwami, the shift to 2 onward since there's just less heat actions, no styles, less freedom, and less minigames.

This will fix the misaligned bloom by removing it entirely.

Right now it can't be emulated perfectly with working bloom, but other than that it's perfect.
You basically need to either use OpenGL renderer and deal with slightly misaligned bloom or play in DX11 and use the hacks to disable bloom.
