I just replayed Human Revolution again and got Pacifist... I even killed a guard after knocking him out saving based Faridah. I knocked him out then he fell 3 stories and dieded.

Later levels are designed in such a way that it will become intuitive in that you'll never come across a dead end and always be able to progress regardless of the kind of build you're going for, Liberty Island isn't really like that unfortunately making it a less than desirable introductory level.

Like I said though the level can be done in around two minutes, just go to the side and look for a stack of crates, climb up and find the stairs and you're done.

Go to the right of the starting area (docks) and climb the crates on the left. You'll be above all that shit. Climb to the top for your objective or go down and deal with the turret and camera from behind and save Gunther.

The game is all about multiple routes, solving problems in various ways. If what you're trying fails, find an alternate route.

Also I keep getting a crash around this area that only goes away when I switch to OpenGL instead of using D3D. The crash message says something about a runaway loop. Any other way to fix this because I get a lot of screen tearing using OpenGL for some reason.

Once you restore peace with the triads, a random bum in some bar in the canals gets a full new dialogue commenting on it.
