Insurgency and Day of Infamy lack marketing so they are barren mostly. They are also mediocre and poorly use the Source Engine, see Titanfall 1 and 2.

Not at all. Call of Duty was only successful as a spin-off brand because the former Medal of Honor devs stole game code and design philosophy from EA and brought it to Activision. They were only quality titles when they still followed the original vision, which ended at COD2. After that it innovation immediately ended. Only minor modifications to the gameplay occurred following it. A rifle melee was changed to a knife magnet melee attack (no skill) and perks & killstreaks were added in 4 to attract the lowest common denominator gamer, the filthy casual.

what shits me is the kids of today praising Treyarch as the best cod developer. IW might really exist any more but they built the series and deserve their due credit
