"Soon" apparently. But really if you're interested in Overlord I would recommend you just swallow the pain and read the light novel. Not only is there way more material than there will ever be made into the anime (and maybe even the manga), but it gives better insight to Ainz's constant panicking that his followers will think he's a fraud. You just have to put up with the lack of polish and oversight that comes with reading a light novel.

That being said, all rebirth (I don't know the Japanese term for the genre) light novel stories tend to get bogged down by self-wankery. Overlord is doing pretty decent (miles better than RE:Monster or Tales of Demons and Gods, easily), but (actual spoiler) with every book Ainz is becoming more of a frantic paranoid convinced that there is some mysterious collection of other players out to get him, despite the reader knowing otherwise. It has reached the point where his followers have the situation read correctly, he would rather believe that some mishap is directly caused by another player killing his death knight rather than his minion having fell to its death down a bottomless chasm.

Which is just a way to tell a Modern Man in a Strange Land. Twain was most probably the first modern(ish) author to write in the 'genre'.

As for Ainz himself. I think he's genuinely growing into his role as time pass, even if his internal turmoil doesn't seem to be waning much. He's not Demiurge but he was able to do a lot of stuff that is genuine.

Light novels have an extremely low barrier for entry, and are basically modern day Japanese penny dreadfuls/dime novels. Literally anyone can shit out a novella or two, have it thrown on the shelf of a bookstore by these gigaton faceless publishers, and make a quick buck or two. After being written by an author of indeterminable merit, whatever was written has to pass through what are most often fan, amateur translators and hope to come out the other side holding a glimmer of the author's original intentions and tone. You never know if the story is just shit or if it got butchered in translation. Some I've read I have a hunch that the author is just a shit writer (RE: Monster is absolutely atrocious and I don't think the translators would purposely word things that terribly), while others I can kinda of see where the writer was going with something if I squint my eyes but the word choice is kind of peculiar (I'm A Spider, So What? suffers from this).

Overlord is better than most (especially the later books) because it's become a more 'serious' project now that it has an anime and manga, so there is some editors looking over it on the Japanese side. Most of the books out are fan translated and you can read them online, but with Overlord's success there are official, professional translations being done. I'm not sure if they're here yet, but you can buy the first (and maybe the second now) book as a physical copy, in English.

Machine Translations, which are basically like pilling the work on Google and, if you're a masochist, doing a little bit of touch-up work here and there on the end result. Those translations are most often shit.
And there's also the old fashioned way. Usually better than the above-mentioned, if also slower.

Moreover, most (>80%) of translated works you can find are from Web Novels (WN). It's exactly as it says. Just original fiction posted online. Otherwise, you can also find translations of Light Novels (LN), which are published on actual paper. Sometime, you might even find translations for both the WN and LN of a same story (the WN author graduates to the 'big leagues' at some point). Some authors will even continue to publish chapter on their web-version. As you can imagine, WNs most often suffer from shitty writing. Of course, some LN are also horrible to read but they did go through some sort of editorial process at some point.

In this case, Overlord was a WN first then it got picked up to become a LN. The author dropped the WN version to focus on the LN, which eventually overtook the WN. By that point, the story had changed somewhat (less sex slavery was involved in the newer version). There was a bit of free translating done for the WN but what you'll find if you look for it online is the fan translation of the LN.
