Rayman 2 gets overshadowed by Mario 64 and Sonic Adventure, yet holds up very well compared to them. I would guess that even today's generation would enjoy it comparable to one's enjoyment of Mario64.

The vehicular parts are terrible though. Honestly, they should have reinvested the money they put into the vehicles and just made more acrobatics like Mario or extra characters to play as like Sonic. The answer to gameplay that comes up short is not vehicles and never will it ever be vehicles.
