TRY IT, MINER!
DIE SCUM
RF was cool.
Why did it have to die
>>386798412
I dunno, but I'd fight 10 blackbelts for a current gen Guerilla. MP was fun as fuck in that game.
>>386798053
I'm playing RF2 right now, and RF1 some weeks ago, definitely fun, but the retarded spread on the guns is horrible, that part feels like a console game and drops the entire game at least 1 in 1-10 rating
>>386799527
I still much prefer RF1 over RF2. I played both to death on the PS2 but RF1 was the more enjoyable one.
RF1 is criminally underrated. Such a fun game.
>>386799938
>on the PS2
kys
>>386799946
People are allowed to have different opinions man. Your favorite thing is not underrated, other people just don't like it as much
>enter the women's bathroom in Administration
>they sound the alarm
TECHNOLOGY
>>386800013
oh sorry lemme just time travel back nearly two decades and tell myself what shit taste I had for not having a PC that could play the most recent games
RED FACTION!
EOUGH
OHH
ARGH
Why did we not see more of this armor, it's cool as shit
>>386800546
>having a PC that could play the most recent games
Simply buying a 150$ gfx card for your parents PC would have been enough
>>386798053REEEEED FAAAAACTIOOOOOONNNNN
So RF1 tried to be Half-Life and RF2 tried to be Halo, right?
JUST YOU AND ME, MINER
>>386798053
>post tfw fighting the aimbotting Mercs
Without console commands I'd never have beaten this game, the fucking luggage platform in the small hallway and fusion rocket launcher at the end was some bullshit.
>die to some bullshit
>realize your last save was an entire level ago
Yeah that's enough to shelve it for the night.
1 and 2 are both really fun. Never played 3 or 4.
>>386802024
>So RF1 tried to be Half-Life and RF2 tried to be Halo, right?
More or less. Aside from 1 stealing Halo 1's weird moon jump, it gives almost the exact same vibe as HL to me. 2 just feels and plays like Halo 2 as wellexcept for much better multiplayer.
>>386798053
>Get to final boss area
>See him far off in the distance
>Try to snipe him
>Instantly get teleported next to him
>"PAAAAAARKEEEEEEEERRRRRR"
That shit had me in stitches for days
>>386804980
Cool, I'll have to try that out once I get there. Only just got to waste disposal.
>game is fun as fuck for most of it
>game starts getting annoying when the mercenaries become the main enemies
Just fuck my shit up, famalam.
Fuck me, now I want to replay these games
>Red Faction 2 multiplayer
I remember playing the shit out of it with my little brother. The bots were handmade and leveled up with you, they had names and they almost felt like actual players.
God I miss those days.
>>386805080
It might not be the final boss I can't remember. It was some old guy, and you could definately see him before the cutscene was initiated which must've bugged the game when you shot him
>>386805270
I'm planning on going through 2 after I beat the first. I'm really glad both games have bots so I can still experience the multiplayer.
>>386805438
My friend and I used to play on that map with two fortresses where the walls were all excavatable with rockets and mines, just making tunnels everywhere and killing each other in the tunnels we dug occasionally
>>386805521
I'm pretty consistently amazed by the destructible-ness of a game from 2001. it's ablastto play.
>>386805271
That's the first boss. Not when you fight him though, it's just when you meet him first.
This lady is the last boss she's my waifu.
>>386805087
Creative mode is a thing anon, It was my only way to beat this fucking game because the fault in mercenaries did nothing but headshots, the fucking train level made me break a mouse. That fucking insane power gap near the end made me question my skills in games.
>>386798053
>this will never be remade with id Tech 6
>>386798053
I love putting sticky bombs on dudes
They'd just run around forever, screaming.
I love how one minute the civvies are all "I'm on your side!" and the next "Help! Guaaaards!" fuckin' make up your mind dudes
>don't shoot, I'm unarmed!
>runs two steps and starts firing at you
>>386806391
Yeah you're completely right. It's been so long since I played the game my brain has mixed every memory together. Yeah the final boss was that flying chick, she was a bitch to fight
>>386804769
I remember that being complete bullshit in RF1 multiplayer. A one shot kill rifle with a built in wallhack is cool for singleplayer but cheap as fuck in multiplayer
>>386807001
The guards would do the same thing
>DON'T SHOOT I'M UNARMED
>MERCY, PLEASE!
>runs and picks up a gun and shoots at you
>>386807291
It was fun as fuck.
>>386807001
>not shooting every single civilian the moment you find them
REVOLUTION
>>386806391
Well depending on how you look at it, the real final boss may or may not have beenA fucking lame puzzle
>>386798412
oh but it lives on! its confirmed that saints row and red faction are the same universe and so the saints row games are a prequal
is that GREEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT
RIP Hendrix
>We will never have Geomod 3
What a fucking amazing engine.
>>386808176
Hendrix was a bro who actually helped you out, unlike Eos who just kept promising to send you support and then go 'woosp everyone's dead but you, go do everything yourself again'
>>386807759
I would believe it if it was only Saints Row 1, 2 and maybe 3... but beyond that? Fuck no.
ITS ABOUT TO GET A LITTLE LONGER, MINE SCUM
>>386807291
>split screen with bro
>dig into walls on Warlords (the two fortress map)
>try to find each other with rail guns.
Such a great multiplayer experience.
>>386807690
Man on my first play through I was so bad at this. Now it's first time ez every time. This game
>>386808176
I like the part where he shows you his little office in the stealth section. A true bro to the end.
Is there a terrorist simulator as good as RF: Guerilla?
