It's pretty good once you get past the beginning.
Fi keeps harassing you throughout the game which can be extremely annoying but if you can stand her then you got a pretty good game on your hands.

i feel like i'm going to be a bit contradictory here, i do not think it's a bad game, i finished it after all, however it deserves all the shit it gets and it totaly doesn't deserve that 90 metacritic score it has

>the motion control are imprecise, they add nothing to the game and it doesn't feel like you are swordfighting at all, it feels like you are playing a bad game of simon says that get particulary frustating when enemies get electric weapon and hitting them at the wrong time end up with you taking damage, also doing the stab motion is some herculean task that seems achievable only by having extreme faith in nintendo, by the way did i mention the final boss require to be stabbed multiple times?
