Here's a tip to help you understand: RPG video games are for autistic hugbox fags. They made sense back when the hardware was too weak to make convincing action, but now that we have the hardware for good action, CRPGs are inherently outdated and you have to be mentally disabled to continue enjoying them when a better way exists.

let me share some autism. this was my Morrowind beginning for every playthrough to get a good starting amount of coin and training to get things rolling

>find the shop with ebony dart / a ebony bracelet/ a glass dagger and steal a cheap thing to make him hostile before killing and stealing
>loot or buy some repair tools to fix the dagger if you want since it has shit dura
>head up the stairs outside and find the shop with a dreugr armor and helm. you can take those for no bounty and shopkeep is stuck behind his counter
>silt wherever has a mage guild and teleport to caldera to sell off loot to creeper, the vendor scamp, along with stealing the orcish stuff in that same house
>teleport to vivec mage guild and buy mark/recall
>go back to caldera and mark in front of creeper
>teleport to whatever guild and get either a 50 unlock spell or buy a few scrolls of it
>back to vivec go to redoran quarter top floor
>go in the manor and head upstairs to the lone bedroom
>pickpocket the female dunmer to make her hostile and kill her then loot her or her drawer for a vault key
>get out of the manor and head for the vault building also on the top floor
>go straight down to the last gated room
>unlock with key, nothing will become hostile
>wait a few hours until the ordinator insude the room gets out
>close the door and enjoy a fortune in ebony and glass to grab then recall to creeper for resale

The latest versions of open cities has most of the quest problems fixed, and I believe there's a secondary mod that changes the ones that aren't.

Performance issues are mostly related to some daedric gate quests, and Imperial city. I don't recommend Imperial city since the open city version is pretty much incompatible with all the mods that make it prettier and/or causes too many performances issues.

Except maybe the mod that makes the mage guild and prison open those seem fine to me.

Do you think Bethesda will be forced to increase the quality of the next TES game due to the recent success of the Witcher 3? It's undoubtedly true that the massess will eat up a new TES game without question, but the series has only been able to stay afloat due to a lack of decent RPGs. Beth's only real competition before was Bioware, but the two were vastly different games.

I highly doubt it, but they publish for ID tech and have managed to get their engine ported / modified for Arkane for Dishonored 2's new void engine, Beth getting a new engine for the next TES game that isn't creation engine is a fun thought.

I never felt like Todd was ever purposefully lying to his audience. He's a game designer, he helped make Morrowind, I feel like he hears all these great new features from his development team and he can't wait to tell people about them, even if the features he heard about aren't the best in their implementation.

Fallout 3 didn't have over 300 endings but that could have changed in development. Skyrim does have infinite quests, and you can climb a lot of mountains.

He has a child-like enthusiasm that I respect, and honestly I've bought every Bethesda RPG since morrowind, despite how casual they've gotten recently.
