Same way you fight every other boss. Build a hideous platform arena/track to fight on and cheese as hard as you can with heart statues and the like.

You could also go fish up a bunch of crates to get a bunch of high-tier metals without having to go underground since you're apparently pretty weak.

Calamity ain't worth using unless it's on its own with QoL Mods anymore, it's trying too hard to be its own game and clashes way too much with other mods in terms of balance and progression.

The easy bait farming method is using flower boots, flare gun, and a tiny jungle biome. So you make like a tiny 5x4 rectangle in the jungle and shoot a flare in the corner and stand on it with the flower boots. Then you just use your net and have basically an endless supply of jungle bait.I just use mouse clicklock and farm bait while I am AFK.

They cant keep up with it, and they will follow you anywhere, unlike Destroyer.
You have to get used to it though because it flips your screen, but it isnt hard at all.

You can use this against any enemy that flies or floats, its basically a canned rail/bridge strat.
Just dont get to far or the boss might despawn due to distance, use the map wisely.

Focus on killing Spazmatism first. Retinazer's lasers are piss easy to dodge and he's somewhat slower in general than Spazmatism. Make sure you have a long enough arena to handle them and good enough equipment to keep them at a comfortable distance. Spazmatism's attacks tend to be very devastating if you're unfortunate enough to get hit by it, but if you're fast enough he should give up just long enough away from your ass for you to completely avoid it. Use a weapon like the clockwork assault rifle with meteor bullets and pepper the fucker at a safe distance. Then when only Retinazer is left you shouldn't have that big of an issue.

Make a flat area to sprint on, go full autism and make one across the sky. If you can, farm Hallowed biome for the unicorn mount. You move faster than the boss on the unicorn so you can just keep kiting him to one side and dumping ammo into them. Be careful about going too far away from them though as they will despawn.

Make a straight tunnel and have two timed portals on each end, then bring Plantera to the center of it and activate the portal timer.

Plantera will be stuck in the middle trying to reach you and never being able to.

Now you just have to put some weight on mouse1 and let it die.

Basically, there's an ancient Eldritch abomination that lives in the moon and shits out his spawn onto Terraria. These spawn have grown so strong that their presence has started to spread Corruption/Crimson over the land.

You play as some schmuck that has decided to try and protect some small corner of the land. To this end you build shelter for the few remaining inhabitants and summon the Moon Lord's spawn so they can be killed for good.

However, the more of these spawn you kill the more attention you draw to yourself until -at last- you draw the Moon Lord's cultist servants out. They awaken the Moon Lord himself and you must use all the power you've attained to kill him and finally bring peace to Terraria.

Or at least as much peace as a world swarming with zombies and skeletons can have.

Gravity Potion or if you've killed at least mechanical boss, buy the blend-o-matic and pump out asphalt. Put it in the sky and use it to kite the boss back and forward. If you don't have that, build a sky minecart track and do the same.

Make potions appropriate for your build, and always get food.

the thing about starbound is that it's fun but really short if you don't mod the fuck out of it
however, the more mods you add, the worse the game runs
starbound is good in spite of chucklefish, a lot of the best mods are things fixing chucklefish's mistakes (being able to move crops closer together, removing crafting time, adding an option to skip cutscenes)
Frackin' Universe adds a lot of "bloat" but it's a pretty good content addon to the bare bones that chucklefish released

Post Moon Lord Calamity stuff is pretty fun but the balance is hilariously garbage. Are there any actually good mods that add any post Moon Lord stuff? I know Thorium does but it's just one fight.
Also fuck whoever though irradiated rain was a good idea in Calamity, that shit can fuck right off. That and I'm pretty sure after Moon Lord it fucks with your health regen and some other shit I've never been able to confirm.

Terraria is great but also sucks.
Compared to absolute garbage like Starbound it's the game of the fucking century. Other than that though, it has some problems that trigger the fuck out of my dormant autism.

Corruption needs 1 more enemy type.
Certain weapon types need to be expanded on. I fucking cannot stand wanting to play a certain way, using a certain weapon type, only for it to be under represented later on, or flat out not represented at all.
For example, the blow pipe. You get the Blow Gun and Blow rifle and what not but they're spread too thin and the blow rifle won't last you until end game. There needs to be a few more variations here and there.
There needs to be more dart types too.

Also Throwing. Pre-Hard mode throwing is very viable and very fun. You hit hard mode though and what happens? You have no more throwing equipment / weapons to mass produce. It simply becomes non viable after you hit hard mode.

Thorium makes throwing very viable. There's some end-game sets that benefit throwing weapons, there's a couple infinite-use throwing items, a melee weapon that scales to throwing damage and you can make some neat consumable throwing weapons with the end-game stuff.

I loved Terraria while playing it but after beating Moon Lord just got bored with it. It seems like one of those games you just play once and never touch again.
