I've been noticing this on a lot of games lately. The consoles sound is crystal clear and unless im hearing it from some original source material, it sounds like ass. Do I need to buy a soundcard and stop listening to /v/'s poorfag advice? The are both connected equally to my sound sytem.

I think the latest FAR fix let's you run 60+ frames stable now. Gonna give it a shot soon, got 90+ when I tested it out a few days ago. PC is gonna have to be beefy though.

ive got a 1080ti and a 7700k, was just alittle worried since i heard at launch the pc port wasnt great which is why i waited on picking it up hoping it would get an official fix, but if FAR is easy enough to get and if it outpreforms the console version then i'll probably pick it up for pc

Your mobo's internal DACs make all the difference if you use miniplug output. But if you're using optical output or DVI/HDMI passthrough using your GPU (meaning the digital-to-analog conversion is done by your sound system) then try fiddling with the sound settings on Windows.

It's pretty damn good, at least when you download FAR and turn global illumination down a bit. Currently playing at 60fps on a GTX 1060.
