It's great that videogame development has become more accessible. Even if there's a lot of trashy indie games the medium is still inspiring people to get into programming and multimedia. It's good that the everyday person knows the basics of coding , streaming, and photoshop.

I'm not entirely sure this wasn't a failed "shill" thread but I love KoL and have for years, so I guess I don't care. I did buy the game this morning and it's nice if you like RPGs and it's only 10 bucks. Also hats if you're a faggot. I like that Jick is branching out.

i tried getting into KoL several times but i find the humor dull and randumb and i don't understand why it has a stamina bar system when it's pretty much a fangame with no production values

It's still pretty good actually. I've had my account saved from culling because I got some Gencon gear from them years ago, and coming back now they've done a lot to keep it going. The only thing it could really use is a dedicated mobile client, but even then it still works fine.
