Fug is the best.
Kyogre is alright but more just because it has waterproofed paint (which means it's more usable in amusing pictures like Fug but it looks greasy outside of water).

I had a Big the Cat one. I knew nothing of his personality at the time, and was under the impression he was an older surfer dude or something. I would play it when I'm doing terrible at 2D games because it feels like a warm up for some reason.

I think I had the monkey ball one too, but I played the sonic one mostly. I was sad too when it died and couldn't replace the batteries because it had the triangle screws and my dad told me there was no way to open those.
