nigger everyone remembers Ehrgeiz
now let's talk about how the opening cinematic was a thousand times better on the Playstation Magazine demo disc than the actual game. why the fuck did they change the music?
Remember when it good.

Then there's another one, ps1 game, starts out with a earthquake and your character yells and points "I have to save those baby chicks" kind of a top down 3d adventure, and I vaguely remember like a floating ship or castle. I dunno.

I liked the dungeon game that came with it for the explorer characters better than the main game.

>>386787598
>I was really disappointed when the next two played nothing like this
Yeah i know what you mean. The gameplay is arguably better in 2 and 3, but Fellowship is more of an epic adventure game than an action game, so the style it went with made more sense.
But if there's one thing that REALLY disappointed me in Two Towers and RotK, it's the atmosphere. Fellowship was a near 1:1 book adaptation imo, and TT and RotK felt like a quick moneymaker off of the movies' popularity, but still well made.
Fellowship also has bettersoundtrack. There, i said it.
>>386788013
Why is this emulator good if controllers can't even function out of the box
I'm still surprised they took the whole haunted videogame creepypasta and actually made it into a competent horror game on the DS of all systems

One of the best mech games I've ever played. I wish there were more "low-tech" mech games out there, sadly there doesn't seem to be.
>>386785832
Loved the hell out of this game. Wish they ended up making a sequel, sadly that horrible beat em' up will have to do instead
I get the feeling that even on /v/ nobody will remember this game. Which is a shame, because it was a fucking blast. The combat was rock-paper-scissors, except the rocks, paper, and scissors were all energy blasts, and you could combine them together in unique ways depending on the order you pressed the buttons.
I can never remember the name of it, but it was like a fighting game where you build a monster and then fight other monsters, and after you beat them you got a random part from them you could then add to your monster. My mind always jumps to Jade Cocoon, but I know that isn't right.
No love for Dreamcast gems?

Poor Star Gladiator. I think this, more than anything, is Capcom's most neglected fighting game franchise. Even fucking Warzard gets more characters in crossover games than Star Gladiator.
>>386797262

now you can pay "just" $39.99 to have a gameroom added to your base where you can watch your characters not interact with a D&D set and simulate the same experience.
>>386797502
Yea I believe it is similar, but not quite the same. The presentation is so cinematic though. They went hard into the "realism" angle for their mechs, and it works really well imo. Definitely worth an emulation if nothing else.
