I'm no expert, but several things I'd point is left's terrible hairstyle which gives her an odd looking forehead, the angle and lighting benefit right because of the hairline hiding her ear (Aloy's face looks too goddamn wide in that angle), the sheen of sweat/oil on Aloy, and Aloy's facial expression vs right's more relaxed expression.

I still get where you're coming from though. We can see the resemblance, but something is just really off putting about left. It was the same with Miranda's face in ME2/3.

The eyes are scrunched up and it almost looks like they added another inch of chin.

The deal breaker is the hair, which gives her a nasty 5head (coming from someone who usually doesn't mind them), and looks like a shitty mullet up top that doesn't mesh with her braids at all.

Finally it looks really weird with that area between her ear and her cheekbone. It looks like they tried to increase the area of her face and couldn't reconcile the extra detail that's covered by the model's hair.

All in all the result on the left looks exactly like a troll face.
