I'm playing it on hieghten because regular is too easy. Its still really easy at times so I have to use Titans

Story is decent, atmosphere is good and I love the game play. Sadly when it comes to Supergant games its Transistor> Basition > Pyre

Flip Pyre and Bastion and we got a deal

as expected the presentation of the game is fucking rad

really makes me wish supergiant did a long story driven RPG or something. the only thing I don't really like about their games is they always feel like they get a bit repetitive and overstay their welcome, even though they're all really short games. but to be honest, i don't really mind the $15 price mark for a game that lasts 5 hours.

Bastion had a better narrator, music, the characters weren't as fleshed out but its easier to keep track of then 8-9 people with completely backgrounds.

Pyre's gameplay >>>>>>>Bastion but a simple tale, music, character and more.

Still I'm not done with Pyre so my opinion may change.

Ti'zo and Bae are the most OP characters because they have fucking INFINITE STAMINA once you get their third skills. The AI literally cannot handle this and you can just run in circles until they all just move into dumb spots and just run and point blank shoot the ball into the pyre.

Playing against people, the Crones are the best race, because their fucking half screen near instant jump is some bullshit.

I nearly always got shut down while flying because of getting blocked, but yes, the AI cannot handle Ti'zo with his talisman.
Gilman is also fast enough that you can run circles around the AI.

Pyre > Transistor > Bastion
Pyre is pretty much my favorite game now, and Transistor is among my top 5.
