It's not irrelevant to me because the system suffers as a homecomes since it doubles as a portable system. So even though I don't care about it being portable I still need to pay extra for, say, the screen attached to it, the small size (which increases costs), the small storage (since they can't fit a 1TB HDD, because it's a portable) for which I have to pay extra, and I also need to pay extra for a controller with a D-pad that still isn't as good as the others that come standard with the other systems.

So yes, the fact that it's portable heavily affects me even tough I have no intention of playing it as a portable system. It's a flaw of any hybrid device, they are never as good as dedicated devices.

Neither does the Xbone/PS4. On which you can use any USB, HDD or online storage to transfer save files. On Switch you're fucked if anything happens to your system, for no reason whatsoever you can't transfer saves to the SD card, they are permanently stuck to the internal memory.
I don't own a Vita so I don't need to defend it, proprietary memory is shitty, but I'm pretty sure that even on Vita you can at least transfer saves online.

Skyward Sword was awful, stop saying it was good in ANY way. Graphics sucked, gameplay sucked, music sucked, story sucked HARD. If it wasn't for the fact that it had the Zelda name on it, it would have sat at a 7/10 and no one would have questioned it.

The controller did have 1:1 at that point, but that doesn't mean games used it to its fullest extent. Zelda more or less used an "assisted" system.
It was a pretty useless device because it was clear devs could design games around the original Wii's motion control's limitations.
I agree that SS sucks, in fact there hasn't been a good zelda since the N64 ones in my opinion.

I bought a 3ds the day it launched. This taught me to wait for a revision and for the games I actually want for it to come out.
