Bullshit, I bought the game before the Month 2 update, the game ran pretty fine, had the occasional lag spike near the beginning but that's it, I played a good 20-30 hours on it. Since then the game went down in stability, had multiple crashes, and it only recently got decent. Now I haven't played in a good 3 weeks, came back to it, it's shit again, except now the servers are also fucking shitting themselves.

i try to have fun in this game, i really do,
but it always just ends up that i move with a group with my friends and let them make decisions
we end up dying to a team that's already in a spot we were going to but in a better position
the luck factor can't be reduced enough to make it a fun game imo
more often than not the top 25 got there cause they fell on top of a good gun and all the ammo they'll ever need and also inside the white circle
if you don't find a good gun/attachments/map position within 5 minutes you're better off time-wise to just kill yourself and get into a new game
it's like you're gambling but the only currency is your time and the jackpot is just a screen that says winner winner chicken dinner and that's it.
there's better ways to farm points for crates for cosmetics and it's not like nobody goes "holy shit it's that guy that got first place last match" because nobody is ever in the same match again unless you're a streamer
it's the casual quick match type of game where normies can come home off work and play 10 matches but in those 10 matches spread across 2-2.5~ hours there will be about 30min of actual shooter gameplay.

That being said, I always seem to agree with around 50 % with the criticizing and this game is no exception. The game can definitely be fun, but it can also be downright frustrating and bullshit. One thing I wish devs would stop fucking doing is giving people with lag advantages. Why in the fuck do I have to pay the price for somebody else having ghetto ass internet? In previous shooters if you were lagging, you saw everything later putting you at a disadvantage, and the game didn't compensate for you. That's how it should be.

The only real complaints I have are the fact that the game isn't optimized well and there isn't much content (guns, vehicles, maps, etc...), but both of these are actively being improved by the devs, so I'm pretty satisfied with PUBG overall.

Considering the game is only $30, the purchase is pretty easily justified.

The lag is fucking murderous I agree, considering the game really prioritizes precision in combat the fact that 1 in 5 players are teleporting around the map makes it difficult to really attribute any kind of victory to skill. Lag plays a HUGE factor in how a fight goes down, hopefully the devs are going to be optimizing the netcode as the game develops because as it stands trying to kill niggers with 500+ ping teleporting behind you and unzipping katanas is impossible.

CS is more frustrating than PUBG in my opinion, especially when a game ends 15-16 and you pretty much just wasted an hour on a single match. Losing in PUBG isn't so big a deal even if you're in the top 5, games only last ~30 minutes tops.

Most fun and best adrenaline rushes you can get in a vidya game currently. I recommend to anyone with friends to play with.

This happens regardless of your settings, those models are the low poly ones, used for rendering things in the waaay in the distance. The game doesn't load them automatically sometimes, if you open up the inventory, or the map, it freezes for a few seconds then it loads in properly. But this shit can mean death if you decide to start at the School or any other popular area.

Bigger problem is, if you want to land on one of these unrendered buildings, you bounce on them or some shit. Also, some of the holes aren't actually holes, pic releated.

I just want them to fucking fix this, it's been in the game for atleast 3 months now, and they haven't done anything about it. Oddly enough, if I play duo it happens less often. Also, since the game registers hits client side, if you shoot through a wall that isn't rendered, it actually hits, meaning if you can find a gun early on, when people experience the bad rendering, you can kill them through walls.

You're really just supposed to advance with the blue right at your back with guns up scouting everything in front, 99% of the time you'll find the dudes camping out before they find you (if you're moving slowly) and you'll get your chicken dinner.

I've got almost the exact same setup, if you put everything at very low except textures (medium), you can go into the properties on steam and set all cores to run the game. It'll run like a charm. Also make sure your power mode is at performance and not balance in your power settings.

i have almost everything on ultra low, with just draw distance on high, i think it uses more ram than vram (also installing the game on a ssd removes the issue of buildings not loading properly)
the framerate is stable in solo queues (40-50 ish fps) but oscillates heavily between 20-50 fps in duos or squad, sometimes it even dips bellow 10 fps (while speeding in vehicles for example)
can't complain my rig is ancient i'm surprised i can even run the game
