I'd expect the PS4 version to look and run better. I wouldn't get the Switch version unless you really want to take your lesbian vampire game on the go. If you have a PC you might want to consider getting it on there, but keep in mind that Koei Tecmo PC ports can be pretty sketchy.

Really liked first game, eventhough combat was definitely disappointing and town felt too deserted and almost devoid of any npc interactions. Second game seems to improve both things a lot, so I'm excited.

They said the lily relationship system wouldn't affect the story, but I'm fairly certain they also said somewhere that there'd still be multiple endings. I'm hoping that means you at least get some kind of choice between Liliana and Ruenheid, since they seem to be the "main" girls.

The first game was incredibly basic and monotonous hack-hack-hack, where I forgot block even existed because it was so simple and easy. Most depth came from familiar-switching, which boiled down to "do I make a formation with a healer or pure DPS".

In 2, they've improved combo variety, movements look more polished, there's added teamwork and joint attacks with party members, there's buffing, etc. You can see a dramatic amount of small changes in the trailers, which should make things a lot more fun.
