I always keep at least 1 of each utility weapon on me at all times.
1 korok leaf, 1 torch, 1 fire weapon, 1 ice weapon, 1 lightning weapon, 1 boomerang, 1 hammer for ore breaking
and the rest weapons for combat.
I also pretty much never use the bow because why would I? Ancient arrows are the only useful part, but they also destroy loot, so fuck that. I can just run up on any enemy and kill it in melee far easier.
Plus, with a fire weapon, a torch, a boomerang, and the endless bombs, I never even need arrows for anything since anything that needs to be burned or shot can be burned by the fire weapon or exploded by bombs or cut by a boomerang.
