Katawa Shoujo

Only played Hanako's arc. It was about 8 hours of the main character being Forrest Gump and brooding on every single detail, while the story was paper thin and mostly consisted of going to library and convenience store at least 30 times each. Very little meaningful dialog, mostly just grueling descriptions of very mundane events, like I opened my door and walked down the hall, my heart felt heavy because blah blah blah. "This is all of me" was the only moment of excitement during the whole thing, but it was already the ending.

The game got popular pretty much only because of the source material and the fact that it's a free game made by some 4chan anons. But nobody cares anymore, obviously.

After trying to get into the story, I realized it was kind of garbage and skipped all text to get to the sex scenes. I don't blame anyone who enjoyed the story more than I did, but it's incredulous how many generals it's had.

Needed a better editor. Each route having its own writer left a lot of seams on the overall narrative.
The whole pre-planning phase was a shitshow. Anyone and everyone (including me) was pitching shit and throwing out ideas, and 99% were disregarded.

He is exactly like Forrest Gump as in he's incredibly oblivious to any and all social interaction. If you're not a 100% NEET you'll be cringing extra hard every scene, because guess what, this is not how people IRL act with each other, not at all.

Unless hell is freezing over and /ksg/ actually managed to fucking stop their decaying circlejerk, Katawa Shoujo will last forever and not in a good sense. In any case, it's a wonderful VN and can be enjoyed by just about anybody
