Why do people around here act like there's only bad changes made in world? Other than the moving while potting and switching between weapons mid hunt I don't think any of the changes made are bad at all. People talking about the charm of flexing after the potions and how monster hunter it is are full of shit anyway since every damn one in G rank tries as often as possible to cancel the animation. I mean I don't think the scout flies are super great but it beats knowing the exact location of the monster every time you enter an area. Other than that it seems like they're trying to make it more like what we've always seen in the opening videos of the games, with a much more organic and interactable world. But seriously, the switching of weapons mid mission can right well go fuck itself, the justification they gave for it is stupid as all fuck. Also not a fan of the sling thing.

Demo is fun. Unlike a lot of people, I had no complaints about Generations other than the excessive gathering at the start, so I would love to get GenGen on the Switch here if they would release it. Not about to pay Capcom for being cunts though. I'll keep waiting for a localization that won't come, and if it actually does then happy day. In the meantime Brave LS against Valphalk has been delightful. Love when he decides to do his version of the world tour and launches back down with his wing engines burning and the sound faded out.

I've never played Monster Hunter before, but I'm having a lot of fun with it. I like using the Switch Axe and Insect Glaive. It's kinda weird; I know it's Capcom, so it's no surprise that the combat is bretty gud. But at the same time, I was expecting something DMCish and instead got something a lot slower and more methodical. Fun though.

I've been playing MHFU with some friends lately via PPSSPP
Why do all the fucking monsters feel easy?
I know the Rajang but I don't know who else would pose a fun hard time

The monster AI was very predictable and easy to manipulate in FU, and the monsters moved like animatronics, so most of the difficulty came from poorly tuned hitboxes.
The newer gen monsters are more fun to fight, but also often feel easy because they fight more fair too.

P3rd would definitely feel fresher, if you only played 4U and FU, since 4U discarded most of 3rd gen monsters in favor of returning 1st/2nd gen ones. Obviously it's up to you in the end.
