If you have el dorado / other dlc's that enhance natives then play a native in Mexico.

Otherwise play for achievements, trust me thats where most of the fun from eu4 come from.

A great choice would be the najd achievement for example. It's not that hard to get 500 provinces before 1820 and I can tell from your hours you're still kind of a noobie almost 1500 hours here.

Yeah, even with my hours I still find out a ton of new stuff every time I play. (Doesn't help that I only really played Brandenburg, Austria and the Teutons).

Those are the best nations to play at the start though, because once you play them again after a thousand hours it will feel so different and new.

As I said just hunt for achievements. Many eu4tubers set goals for themselves as well, such as florryworry.

If you still don't have a clue what nation to pick there are always random nation pickers online with a goal associated to them.

Play one of the SEA countries, work your way to becoming king shit of the area while fighting off Chinese advances and ramping up for when the Europeans start showing up.

Alternatively, play in India, where everyone hates everyone else and there's a war going on all the time for your profiteering pleasure.
