Combat is worse than all games in the series barring PS2 Yakuza 1 (Y2 is better combat wise than this).
Visuals are bloomy and muddy as fuck, it looks compareable to Sleeping Dogs in fact and lost its sleek sharp aesthetic that Yakuza 0, Kiwami and Ishin had, all for the sake of MUH RAGDOLL PHYSICS that completely ruin combat and mechanics.
The whole seamless transition thing is a blatant lie, there's still loadings but they just no longer cut to black, when you run into enemies in the world the combat takes good 5 seconds to load before you actually start fighting so you have Kiryu and thugs just standing there awkwardly for the game to load the combat transition and even then this only applies to random battles. Scripted battles and indoor battles are all still cut-to-black like in previous entries.
Story is ass and nobody can defend that trash.
Framerate is awful unless you have PS4 Pro and even then its fucked due to bad framepacing even in the "performance" mode.
Most of mainstay minigames removed in favour of new, shitty ones.
NO KOMAKI TECHNIQUES, FUCK YOU
Smallest Kamurocho in franchise history, rooftops, undergrounds etc that Y3 and Y4 introduced are removed entirely, it's just flat district walking like in Y1, but now they also removed two districts entirely (Hotel District and Purgatory are gone, so is the Underground).
Literally only 2 stores copypasted throughout the map instead of variety of stores for immersion.
Hiroshima is so empty it doesn't even feel like a city.

There's nothing exaggerated with how bad Y6 is compared to what came before.

Is this some sort of change in the main game? Because in the demo there is no load, as soon as you run close enough or linger around long enough the fight starts, that bit where they all turn to you and start smack talking is basically them telling you to get away, it's not loading. Hell, here's a webm I did while playing the demo and as soon as I bump the guy the fight immediately starts unless you count that half a second as they turn "loading".

No anon, it actually is their way of masking the loading times. The console can't handle the strain in real time. Not to mention that as in your webm, in smaller areas where there's less to load, it usually transitions almost instantly, but try running into thugs in theater square with a lot of NPCs around, it takes good 5 fucking seconds before the combat starts due to it being buffered in the background.
I appreciate their efforts of trying to make it seemless by masking the loadings, but this is amateurish as fuck and competition did it better years ago in fucking Sleeping Dogs.

Depends on console and mode.
PS4 Pro has two modes, you can either go for performance mode which is 1080p with locked 30 FPS with V-Sync (doesn't drop) but the framepacing is fucked so it has the microstutter effect like FF15. Or you can go for checkerboard 4K where it's 1800p upscaled to 2160p and massive screen tearing and silky smooth 20 FPS like on base PS4 just with higher resolution.

Yeah, but does it make your attacks feel more impactful? The normal combos and attacks and even most weapon attacks feel like they lack the impact the previous games had (Weapon heat actions and bicycles are fine though), and if you can't somehow just ignore the mid-combo blocks it's going to be rough. You can tell they should have done a trial game first off because Kenzan had these same problems to work out, the sword barely felt like you were hitting anyone even when knocking them down and everyone blocked constantly so the only time you really felt like you were using something strong was the wall stab dual katana heat action and any of the greatsword attacks/heat actions but they were hilariously weak, and there was this massive problem where getting stabbed once meant clutching your gut and slowly falling down.

Here's a quick one I did, it's less than two seconds at best since they spotted me from far away. Please excuse the sloppy play, it's been a couple months since I played 4 and this was like the second battle of me remembering the controls. It's also a nightmare to actually get anything to spawn near there, hot damn, they all just walk away or walk to the theater itself.

I've also been playing FFXV literally five minutes before this and despite everyone complaining about some sort of framepacing issue I haven't had a problem with it on Stable mode nor RGG6 at 1080p mode.

It depends on a person dude. Believe me when I say it that sensitive people find that shit unplayable, I know I do. Way back when before this current generations of gamers even knew what that shit was, I was familiar with it already from SLI back when I invested into GeForce 8800GT (came out around the same time as Crysis, was a beastly card) x2, aka SLI. I refunded that shit within a week because of the microstutter caused by SLI. It got better since then for CrossFire and SLI setups but it's still there.
Meanwhile many games this gen on PS4 as well as shit PC ports exhibit the microstuttering problems as well, professionally known as framepacing issues caused by badly coded framepacer. Anyone that's been trained for smooth framerate their entire life will immediately notice that shit and it will drive that person insane. That's why it's such a big deal.
I legitimately can't play FF15 and Y6 because of this since it gives me headache within less than an hour.
It's like driving a car on a seemingly clear road but with mini holes in it, your tolerance just fucking evaporates after a while.

This is a problem with some Pros, mine is as quiet as my Wii U no matter what, Pro or normal games, it's one of the quietest consoles I've ever owned. If you have that problem you get it checked out under warranty because it's not supposed to do that at all. Mine only heats up on the top-right and it's just hot to the touch, it doesn't burn or anything.

I keep it in a room that regularly hits in the 70s to 80s Fahrenheit, I've literally never heard this thing outside of it reading a disk or installing said disk. I've played The Last of Us Remastered, Ratchet and Clank, Final Fantasy XV, and RGG 6's demo all which have Pro modes by default and I've never heard a single peep out of this thing. I've owned a 360 for years, I know what loud can sound like and believe me this thing doesn't even remotely get close to a 360 on HDD reading let alone disk reading.

Yeah PS3 port is 720p 60 FPS with 4x MSAA, very good port. PSP original ran at 20 FPS lock, they reused that engine for the 3DS version of MGS3 which is also locked at 20 (but drops way below that with 3D enabled).

The models and textures are still actually improved on 3DS. Big Boss looks a lot more like his Peace Walker self in terms of beard and hair detail for example. The game actually has bump/normal mapping while all others versions don't, making the textures "pop" more and so on.
It's not the worst version of the game by any stretch of imagination, it's just different.
The biggest difference comes from mechanics though, which are based on Peace Walker.
Which means you can't crawl, only lie down, but you can crouchwalk.

Come on man, despite 6's faults it's still a RGG game and the demo is fun enough, especially when coming off the older games and seeing the vast improvements to certain things. Not to mention it means 7 or whatever side game they might make with the engine is going to be something they now know how to work with which means more fun. I want to see a side game first with the 6 engine so they can get their bearings properly before they tackle the next main game, Kenzan was fantastic when coming from 2, and I'm sure Ishin is going to be fantastic when coming from 5 due to everything I've heard, so I'm sure they can manage another great side game.
