No. You can talk your way through a lot of quests, but, sooner or later, you will end up fighting. A lot.
Ventrue are absolutely viable though, as long as you don't forget about guns or melee.

Ventrue is viable, fortitude basically makes them invincible when it gets high enough. You can use dialogue for a lot of things but not all of them so you still need to get combat skills.

The only clan that I wouldn't say is viable or at least not as fun is Gangrel because their claws are slow and have a lot of knockback. They're strong against bosses but when trying to combo with claws against most enemies they'll be knocked back and only your first hit will land.

One of the game's biggest tricks is convincing you that's entirely viable for the first half or so. After that you realize combat is much more prominent and you need ONE combat skill at least.

Not sure if the game really tricks you because Jack tells you that you'll be forced to fight sometimes, and you have multiple "boss" fights in the first half. Melee seems to get a bit weaker after the first half though even though they tell you it's better against supernaturals for the most part, and unless you have tons of money for bullets you'll be struggling.

I don't melee is actually less effective. Melee as in weapons and shit. It's brawling that needs some supernatural help to stay relevant but is still perfectly usable.

Ah I forgot about that, yeah it's not so bad then but there's pretty much nothing like that for the other fights and I have no idea why they gave Ming-Xiao so much HP when no other boss fight is like that. Even when you fight LaCroix's Sheriff's beast form thing it doesn't have nearly the same amount of HP and there's a trick you can exploit with the spotlights. I've watched a few speedrunners who play VtMB and they spam burrowing beetle or blood strike and it definitely makes the Ming fight a lot faster but not by much.

Yes, you have to wait for the sabbat vamp to walk towards the door, an explosion happens which triggers him to go back to his original position. As he's walking back, you're supposed to sneak behind him and to the door. Just be patient.

I beat this game a few months ago but forgot most of it (this happens with me with every game...) anyway the most memorable part was the Malk Mansion. I was really enjoying it, but then got bumbed out when I realize it's just an incomplete dead end with only one path through it. Some of the restored content from the patch (that I didn't realize was restored content at the time) really made it seem like you were going to discover the Malk Elder was alive and hiding in there. The phone calls were great during that part, and the moved mannequins were creepy. But then it goes nowhere.
