BLM doesn't demand autistic rote memorization of a rotation. the rotation is simple, but you need to grip each fight by the dick to do well as it. it's a job that's about analyzing the situation and adapt. it's fairly punishing, but the punishments are perfectly fair and square instead of cucking you completely like drg or smn

SAM has a satisfying flow of action. buff your damage, buff your speed, debuff the enemy, charge up then give them the dick; it's just like playing a SMT game. it has few ogcds, but the frequency in which you use them is only matched by bards. when unblockable damage comes out, you can shield yourself. it's a unique melee in that it has cast times, an ogcd with a 1 second cooldown and more involved resource management

I liked MCH better earlier. From 4.0 onward even after hear change it felt better to avoid overheating and straddle the line between 50 and 100, but overheating every wildfire is pretty much mandatory to make use of the buffa. It feels more clunky and awkward like that. I hope they keep getting buffs to bring them in line with BRD or over BRD with less support, but I don't think I'll play this rendition much.

They changed it in that you can't rely on your fairy to do most of the healing, and adloquium is so expensive to use for such a piddly barrier that you might aswell not even use it anymore. (like 10% of your MP to cast a 300 potency heal with a 300 potency barrier, compared to AST which has a 230 potency heal after sect bonus, with a 575 potency barrier, while also being cheaper and instant). They're more an OCD healer now since they can get aetherflow more often now, they buffed the potency on indomitability and also excogitation, making it much more worth using.

Its identity got gutted. Fairy heals and CDs got nerfed. Before they were all about big mitigation with shields and virus but now they're shitty healers with huge MP costs on their weak as shit shields, and the "buffs" they recently got were all on their bursty instant cast heals that require 1 stack of your resource which you get 3 per minute, so they're some weird healer that can barely heal anything on their own because of long CDs (10 sec off emergency tatics was supposed to help somehow?). Sure you still have adlo+deploy but they obviously don't want to fish for that crit with the ridiculous MP cost on it.

In 3.x I levelled warrior first and had a lot of fun, but then I gave DRK a spin and I was fucking hooked, WAR felt braindead comparatively.
